Find Belonging

One Church is more than just a Sunday Service, it’s a place where you can belong.

Circles of Belonging

We all need a sense of belonging, and it’s no different in a church. You need people who know your name and who you can trust. Studies show that:

  • There are approximately 150 people you know

  • of which 50 you know casually

  • of which 15 you know well

  • of which 5 you know deeply

Find your 50: Courses

Courses are a great way to meet people around a specific topic, and a chance to level up in an area of your Christian Discipleship Journey.

Find your 15: Join a Team

Joining a team is the best way to make friends at One Church. Teams are more than just a place where you serve, they are places where you can meet like-minded people and start building deeper friendships.

Relationships take time

A Kansas University Study found that it takes on average 40 to 60 hours to develop casual friends (your “50”), 80-100 hours to develop close friends (your “15”) and over 200 hours to develop your closest friends (your “5”). What it means is that friendships take time, effort, and intentionality, but it’s definitely worth it.
